A number of traditional geometric motifs are artistically interwoven in a multifaceted blanket. The Great Star blanket is a contemporary interpretation of the classic three-banded Navajo rug design that incorporated stars, diamonds, squash blossoms and a host of other motifs. Our modern version is woven in brilliant new colors and combinations unlike the muted earthtones originally obtained from vegetable dyes.

伝統的な幾何学模様をしたたくさんのモチーフが、多面的な模様のブランケットに美しく編み込まれています。グレートスターブランケットは3色の帯から作り上げた昔風のナバホ族の敷物を現代風にアレンジしており、星、ダイヤモンド、カボチャの花といったいろいろなモチーフをデザインしています。もともとは草木染めでの目立たないアーストーンでしたが現在取り扱っているものは、鮮やかな現代風の色使いを組み合わせて作り上げています。
