製品検査の大事なことは、「不良品限度の見極め」だと思う。
あなたの検査部署にもきっと限度見本のようなものがあるはずです。
そうでなければ逆に楽で、徹底的にアラ探しのように検査すればいいのですが、それでは生産サイドや納入先からクレームが出るはず。
製品検査とは厳しく検査しすぎてもダメだし、テキトーにしてもダメ…というところが難しいところです。
自分の中で「このくらいのキズはＯＫ、これ以上は不良品だ」という基準をきちんと確立できていないと迷ったり、必要以上によく見たりすると思う。

I think what is important in product inspection is "to ascertin the defctive article criteria."
Surely there should be something like criteria sample in your inspection department.
Otherwise, on the contrary it is easier because you could inspect it thoroughly just being picky, but then objections should rise from the production side and the customers.
It is no use either to inspect an article too strictly or to do it negligently ... here lies the diffiulty.
I think that you would hesitate or take the product unnecessarily good if you had no well established standard "to say OK, this much nick, or reject the defect beyond that" for yourself.
