Damo is a dongle that picks up the contents of one’s Android phone screen through direct wifi, and transmits it to a projector through HDMI. Users can then attach a ring to their fingers (a pen is also in the works) and physically navigate one’s smartphone by touching the projected image on the wall. Each time contact is made, the ring flashes a light, which the Damo dongle detects through infrared and then sends back to the phone. The video below, taken from the startup’s Indiegogo campaign, illustrates the premise in detail.
