ちまたでは、「iOS7の隠れキラーコンテンツ」「マーケティングの革命児」と呼び声高いiBeacon。何がそんなに優れているのかNFCとGPSで比較してみました。

■NFCより通信距離が広い。
NFCは10㎝（実際は4㎝）と至近距離での通信、iBeaconは50ｍ（推奨10m）とかなり離れていても通信が可能
