イベントに参加する側はイベントページからチケットを購入し、送られてくるメールに掲載されているQRコードを会場に持っていけばチェックインが可能になる。

このチェックインの方法が先に書いたとおり、iPhoneアプリを使うことになるもので、カメラでのスキャンによるチェックインと手動でリストからのチェックインの二通り方法が準備されている。Startup Datingでも毎回50名以上の参加者を受付しているのでこの方法は大変ありがたい。

When the event is near, you buy the ticket from the event page, go to the event with the QR code that was given to you by e-mail and you'll be able to do the check-in. Given the fact that an iPhone app is used for the check-in, as I've written before, two methods are offered: you can do it manually, by the list or you can use the Camscanner. Considering that Startup Dating has over 50 partecipants each time you could say that this method is really appreciated.
