なんとなくそれらしい訳はあれど非力な部分を回避し自己流に意訳している印象を受けます。あくまでも原文に忠実に。鍵括弧2箇所抜け、トマトの原産に関する誤訳、「歴史はたいへん浅い」と言うのは歴史が短いと言う意味です。最終文の「昨日からのつきあい」に関しては適確さを欠く為文章の一番の山場が台無しです。全体的に原文の意図に反して雲行きの怪しい文章になってしまっているので今一度見直されることをお勧めします。

Baptist history is superficialのように歴史は浅いという意味で、spuperficialを使うというのを始めて知りました。勉強させていただきました。短時間で慌てて出してでも出さないとお金にならないから、いろいろ誰にでも間違いはあります。印象だけで評価されてはたまったものではないですね。
