連絡が遅れてしまい、大変失礼いたしました。心からお詫びします。ホストマザーから電話をするように言われたのですが、彼女が伝えてくれた番号が違うお店の番号でした。私は現在アルバイトも探しているため、アルバイトの返事かと思い、そのまま違う番号にかけてしまいました。電話の相手に間違い電話だと言われ、帰宅後にホストマザーに詳細を改めて聞いて、間違いに気づいた次第です。先程留守番電話にメッセージを残しましたが、携帯電話を今日購入しました。番号は〜です。

I really would like to extend my heartfelt regret.
I was told by the host mother to call, but the number she gave was for a different shop. Since I have been looking for a part time job even now, I thought that it was the reply for my application to a job at that time so I called up that wrong number.
The called party told me of wrong number and I asked the host mother about the details again, and then, I realized my misunderstanding.
I left my message to the answering phone the other day, but I have bought my cell phone today. This is my cell phone number.
