A:
No, not designed to crush ice, just froth and aerate.
Q: Will it replace the 4961 blade?
A:
Yes, I don't know if I will use it much because I mostly use my blender for smoothies, so I use the 4961 blade for crushing ice.

・I find the Oster milkshake blade a good addition to the use of a multi-use blender.

・This milkshake blade quickly draws down the ice cream and makes a very smooth, creamy product that mixes well with very little help.
