「コワーキングスペース」とは多様な人たちが集うワークスペースのこと。「シェアオフィス」が特定の利用者によるオフィス空間の共有を指すのに対しコワーキングスペースは誰もが参加可能でコラボレーションやコミュニティ構築を推奨するという特徴を持っています。世界全体では2012年時点で2800拠点以上 (出典: deskmag)。国内でも2010年以降大都市圏を中心に急速に全国に広まり、2013年7月現在約300のコワーキングスペースが設置されています。

1. What is coworking space?
"Coworking space" is a working space where a variety of people come. While "share office" shares office space by special users, coworking space has a characteristics that any one can participate in and recommend construction of collaboration and community.
As of 2012, there are more than 2,800 coworking spaces around the world (source: deskmag). In Japan, after 2010, coworking space has been spreading rapidly across the nation focusing on large cities. As of July 2013, there are approximately 300 coworking spaces.
