もちろん誕生日は子供のころから非常に大事な日です。
小さい頃は、プレゼントがもらえたり、自分の好きな食事がでてくる日でした。いつも誕生日がくるのを待ち遠しく思っていました。大人になってからは、友人や大切な人と会う機会となり、人とのつながりを確認する日となりました。
さらに、最近は、この一年を振り返り、次の一年の目標をたてるようになりました。今年の目標は、英語力の強化です。

Of course, when you're a child your birthday is a very important day.
When I was little, it was a day where I could get presents and eat my favorite foods. I would always look forward to my birthday coming. Since becoming an adult, I've had the chance to meet friends and important people and it's become a day where I affirm my connection to them.
Furthermore, lately I've been looking back on the year and creating goals for the year to come. My goal tis year is to improve my English.
