現代では書道に関しても表具に関してもモダンな創作がもてはやされています。ある先輩は、創作表具をやればやるほど結局、最終的に伝統的な形式である掛軸、表具の素晴らしさに気づかされるとのことです。

正直、私はその境地まで行き着くほど創作表具をしていませんが、先輩の話を聞いて深く感銘いたしました。
