ジェトロは6月25日から28日、ブラジルサンパウロで開催される食品見本市「SIAL BRAZIL2013」にジャパンパビリオンを設置することを発表。出展者募集を開始した。

ブラジルは150万人を超える日系人社会を抱えることや、日系人以外の富裕層・中間層にも日本食ブームが広がっており、日本食品産業にとってポテンシャルが大きく重要な市場となっている。

同展は南米最大の食品見本市であるFFSと同時開催され、ブラジルおよび南米の食品市場への参入や販路拡大の場として期待される。

Jetro annonced that it would build Japan pavillon at food exhibition "SIAL BRAZIL2013" held in Sao Paulo, Brasil from June 25th through the 28th. JETRO began to solicit exhibitors to the exhibition.

In Brasil, there is a Japanese society of more than a million and a half people. Also, a Japanese cuisine boom is going on in the wealthier and interlayer categories other than Japanese descent. For these reasons, Brasil has a big potential for Japanese food industry and it has been an important market.

This exhibition will be held along with FFS, the biggest food exhibition of South America. It is expected that these exhibitions will become an opportunity to enter Brasilian and South American food markets and to explore new business opportunities.
