Australia based SoundGecko can now be a radio news channel, too
SoundGecko, a text-to-transcription service that allows users to listen to news, web pages and documents on the go, has just pushed out a revamped version of their iOS app.
SoundGecko was founded by Ed Hooper, Andrew Armstrong, and Long Zheng, and was officially launched in July 2012. The Australia-based startup aims to help users consume web content on the go by giving them an audio version of news content, web content and documents. This way, users can be more productive when they are unable to see a screen, such as while they are driving, working out at a gym, or when they are in a crowded train.
