昨日、千葉県表具組合の現会長である高柳氏が肺癌のため亡くなりました。
急な話ですごく驚いた。

表具を専門でお仕事されていて、表具を愛し、表具を啓蒙することにとても熱心な方だった。

私にとっても表具の試験のことでも色々アドバイスいただいていた方なので本当にショックだ。

彼はとても緻密な方でした。

職人の仕事は経験をもとにした感覚的な作業が多い。しかし、彼は表具関連の書籍を多読していたため表具の説明の仕方もすごく数値的でわかりやすかった。

彼は一昨年、自ら技能グランプリに出場した。

He worked as an expert of paper hanging and dedicated himself for enlightening people with his love in paper hanging with enthusiasm.
