私は受験勉強をするために、夏休みは地元の花火大会に行っただけで、それ以外にまったくあそびにいかなかったのをよく覚えている。私は遊ぶことに突然興味がなくなり、勉強することが一番楽しかった。さらに真剣に勉強すれば問題は解けるようになるという事が分かった。問題が理解して高得点を取ることに快感を覚えて、パーフェクトをとることに対して貪欲になった。

I remember the only time I went out during summe break was the local firework festival, as I had to study for the entrance exam. I suddenly lost interest in entertaining myself, and studying was the most fun thing to do. I came to understand that as I studied harder, more questions I solved. I felt so good to understand the questions and obtain high grades, and I started craving for taking perfect score.
