Today, my flight from Japan was cancelled due to a typhoon so it is only tomorrow morning that I will arrive in China. I am very sorry, but could you therefore kindly cancel my stay for tonight?

I have attached a certificate of lateness issued by the airline company in question. Will I have to pay for the cancellation procedure?
