Coworkify of Japan, the AirBnB for event and coworking spaces, enters public beta

One of the biggest problem that event space owners often face is under-utilisation of spaces. While AirBnB has been a phenomenal success worldwide for helping property owners rent out their private properties to short term rental guests, it does not serve event spaces or workspaces. Recognizing this gap, Kenshin Fujiwara, launched Coworkify to address that need.

イベントスペースを持つオーナーが直面する一番の問題はそのスペースが活用されない事にある。AriBnBは物件を所有するオーナーにとってプライベートな物件をお客様に短期間でレンタルする方式で、世界中で成功を収めているが、イベントスペースや仕事場所の提供は行っていない。Kenshin Fujiwara氏はこのギャップに着目し、ニーズを埋める為にCoworkifyをローンチした。
