Since a lot of Venture Capitalists have been coming to Singapore and the rest of the Southeast Asia market, there will be more opportunites to pitch to them here. Even though the GDP for Japan has been stagnant over the last 10 years, the internet industry has been growing at an astounding rate of 15% yearly, with a huge growth driven by mobile. This also applies to the Southeast Asia market where growth in the mobile space entices cash rich Japanese to come here to look for opportunities.
