In this demonstration, the magnet pulls the arc to block it off in a short time.
You can see the arc being blocked off at shorter intervals than the earlier demonstration.
This toggle switch is the actual commercialization of this system.
This video shows a demonstration of our original disconnection mechanism with improved bloking off of arcs in a shorter time.
You can see that the arcs are being blocked off at half the intervals than with the magnet method shown earlier.
Although this is a reference exhibit for now, we are developing a DC dedicated compact switch that will incorporate this.
