東京、桜満開
日本人にとって、この桜の季節は特別な感情があります。
桜の時期は短く、花が一気に満開になって散るまでたった1週間ほどです。そして日本では、会社や学校は4月が始まりなので、それにあわせて新しい生活を始める人が多いのです。学校の入学式や会社で働き始めたことなど、人生の節目節目を日本人は桜に、思いを重ね合わせます。
そして、1週間ほどで、潔く、花びらが雪の様に散ります。

Tokyo, full bloom of cherry now.
For Japanese , this cherry blossom season is very special occasion with emotion.
It lasts only a whole week from the beginning of flower blooms to an end to go away. It is very short period.
And in Japan, school or office begins its season in April therefore there is a lot of people starting their new life during the season. The entering ceremony for schools or office are concentrated this timing so that Japanese are tending to be overlapping the life and cherry floors every time of this season.
And one week time later, the cherry petals are going to be disappeared just like the snow bravely.
満開の桜も素敵ですが、散り際の美しさは見事です。短い花の命は、日本の「わび」「さび」という、はかない命の一瞬が最も美しいという美的感覚につながっているように感じています。そういうちょっとした美的感覚を、ジュエリーにも反映させたいといつも考えています。
ショップの近所にも、たくさんの桜の名所があります。
東宝は数々の日本映画を生み出してきた撮影所。その中に流れる川のほとりで夜の桜のライトアップをします。夜の桜は、幻想的で美しいですよ。
私たちも桜のジュエリーをつくっています。
The full bloom of cherry blossom are so beautiful but it is another touch of beauty when the final stage while it's gone,too. The short periods of going cherry is representing the Japanese wabi and Sabi,or all in full bloom are going to fade and be fallen down. It has been turned out to be the beauty and would like to represent through our jewellery making.
There is lots of places for cherry viewing near our shops,too.
Togo is the place for filming to create the masterpieces of Japanese films.
Cherry in night is lit up alongside the river,makes another dramatically beauty.
We are making our jewellery for sakura or cherry,as well.
桜の花の様子を、和彫りという日本の伝統的な彫の技術で彫り上げています。日本の彫の特徴は、自然の一部分を切り出してくること。葉っぱの途中、花びらの一部を彫って、残りの見えない部分は、頭の中で創造してみようという考え方です。彫はTaganeとKozuchiという日本の伝統的な道具を使って、一点一点手で彫っていきます。
この季節に東京に来ることがあったら、桜の花を見るついでに、私たちのお店にも寄ってみてください。
We have been curving cherry blossom with using techniques called Wabori, the traditional Japanese way of wood curving. The character of Wabori is to cutting part of nature of Japan. This is idea of curving the middle of leaves, a part of petals and left hidden part should be imagined in your mind. The curving is made of using the Japanese traditional tool called Tagane and Kozuchi and handicrafted for one by one.
