商品の所在についてこちらから日本の郵便局に問い合わせました。商品は現地郵便局からマドリッドの交換局に引き戻されたところまでは判明しているが、現時点でどこにあるのかがわからなくなっており、現在調査を行なっているところだそうです。
こちらには調査期限があり、10/13までに商品が見つからない場合は紛失扱いとなってしまうようです。その際は損害賠償の請求ができるとのことでした。

I myself asked to the post office of Japan about the item's location.
They said that they found that it was returned to switching center of Madrid from the local post office, but they do not know where it is at this moment. They are investigating about the item.
This case has the investigation deadline. If they will not be able to find the item by October 13th, it will be treated as loss. In case that, they say we can make a claim for damages.
