その部分をドライヤーで温めてあげると、簡単に歪みを直すことができますよ！
但しドライヤーをゴムに近づけすぎないように注意してくださいね。
温めすぎると熱変性して色が変わってしまいます。

I understand well your concerns.
I think the rubber got warped due to pressure while being transported.
However, please keep your peace of mind!
If you warm that part up in a dryer, you can easily fix the distortion!
However, please be careful about bringing the dryer too near to the rubber.
If you warm it up too much, the color will change from heat degeneration.
