Was the packing thorough?
I tried my best to explain to Japan Post about what you had to go through regarding damage. I also informed which post office you went to, but they say it doesn't apply for compensation. (Japan Post said they cannot tell if you really went there.)
I tried hard to explain that you went to the post office, but Japan Post said it's not proven.
Japan Post said at least to ask the person in charge at the post office.
