仏や神が介在していた祭りごとが、フェスティバルという世俗的なものに堕ちてしまいました。それでも世界中から人々を惹きつける魅力があるのです。
水かけ騒ぎが始まる前に、ほんの少し伝統音楽や芸能と一緒に歩いてみよう。
Original meaning of Songkran (water festival) has faded, now it has become a water rampage around tourist spots. Sacred event which mediated with buddha and god has fallen to a secular event called festival. Despite of that, it still attracts people from around the world.
