i hope you are well. i just thought you might like to see what i did to the box you include with your kamisoris. it is a very protective travel case now. the box is very well made. i painted it with a couple of coats of chinawood (tung) oil. it is waterproof/stainproof now. the ''cradle'' the kamisori rests in is red cedar lined with deer hide suede. for such a beautiful work of art i wanted something very protective to store it in to preserve the edge and not damage it in any way. the kamisori shaves beautifully by the way. i will treasure it always. thank you for the great price.
perhaps the craftsman there would like to see and maybe make the boxes to hold the kamisoris this way. customers may like it too
