The option "Ship in original shipping boxes" refers to the box that the items arrived in. The shipping box, not the manufacturer box. Selecting this option usually results in a higher shipping cost as it prevents us from choosing the best options to further consolidate your shipment.
I would not recommend this option unless you have a very specific reason for doing so.
