<国境(前線)に行く、という緊張感。>
板門店という場所は教科書やニュースで見たことのある場所だ。朝鮮民主主義人民共和国と大韓民国間における「休戦協定」が結ばれ、今に至る38度線境界での分断された国家間の会談場である。
…と堅いこと言っても、現在は観光地化されており…板門店国境以外の見学のときはお店や露店やレストラン、売店等…一種の有名な観光地となっていることも確かだ。
とはいえ、板門店に行く際は、団体行動が絶対で外れたことは許されないという感じ。
<Feeling nervous going to the border (front lines)>
Panmunjon is a place for looking at textbooks and the news. There is a "cease-fire agreement" between the DPRK and the Republic of Korea and now the 38th parallel boundary that separates them is used for talks between the countries.
... or so it's said but now it's become a tourist spot... And, of course, outside of looking at the national border of Panmunjon there are shops, booths, restaurants, stores... and all that is expected with a tourist spot.
That said, when you go to Panmunjon you get the feeling that you absolutely must not act outside of the group.
会談場に入る前には必ず「死んでも自己責任宣言書」を書かされ、緊張感は増すばかりである。
一度は見てみたいと思う板門店も、そう高い値段がついているものではないので、興味ある方はぜひ行ってみたらいかがであろうか。

I had wanted to see Panmunjon once in my life and the prices there aren't that high so I think those who are interested should definitely go.
