完全に大人向けというか、中学生レベルでは理解できない
ぐらいにプロットがある意味では洗練されていて
特に押井守氏が脚本を担当している
第29話「特車二課壊滅す!」は歴史に残る傑作です。
あと、二課壊滅事件のきっかけを作った上海亭のオヤジの名前が
面白い隠し設定に成ってたりします。
初期OVAシリーズ（アーリーデイズ）
この作品はハッキリ言えば日本アニメ史に残る傑作だと筆者は思います。そのぐらいに非常にハイレベルな作品ばかりが凝縮されたシリーズです。
