WirelessのModuleにはzigbee版とwifi版の2種類があります
仰るとおりzigbeeを利用する場合のみGatewayが必要です
wifi版を利用する場合はGatewayは必要なく、直接アクセスポイントに接続します。
現状ではアクセスポイントのSSIDとパスワードを、事前にModuleのソフトウェアに設定しておく必要があります。
そのため、事前にペアリング済みの無線ルーターをセットで設置する方法をとっています
今後のモデルではWPSなどより簡単な方法を検討しています

The wireless modules have two versions of zigbee and wifi.
As you noted, you need Gateway only when you use the zigbee version.
You do not need Gateway when you use the wifi version, and you can directly connect to the access point. At this moment it is necessary to set the SSID and password of the access point to the module software in advance.
Therefore, we have picked up the method of setting with the pre-paired wireless rooter.
For the future models, we plan to use an easier way such as using WPS.

3.日本国内で販売する電気機器はPSEの認証を検討する必要があります。
D Moduleは電源アダプタがPSEに認証を受けていれば良いので取得しておりません。
O Moduleは電源から直接給電するのでPSE認証を取得する必要があるのですが、現在はプロトタイプのためまだ取得しておりません。

wifi版のO ModuleををA cloudに接続できるように調整しているところです。
