クラウド翻訳と機械翻訳のコラボレーションの実現へ
クラウド翻訳サービス を提供している株式会社エニドア（東京都千代田区、代表取締役：山田尚貴 以下エニドア）は、9月9日、ウェブサイト翻訳に特化した翻訳管理ツール「WorldJumper(ワールドジャンパー)」を開発する八楽株式会社（本社：東京都渋谷区 代表者：坂西優）と業務提携を結ぶことに合意いたしました。

For the collaboration of cloud translation and machine translation
Anydoor, Inc. (Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo, Representative Director: Naoki Yamada, hereinafter referred to as “Anydoor”), which provides cloud translation services, announced on Sep 9 that Anydoor agreed on a business alliance with Yaraku, Inc. (Head quarter: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo, Representative: Yu Sakanishi), which develops a translation management tool specializing in website translation, “WorldJumper.”
＜背景＞
2020年の東京オリンピックの開催が決定し、今後ますます訪日外国人旅行者が増えると予想されます。同時に、多言語での情報発信として主に観光業界での多言語サイト作成のニーズや各種ローカライズニーズも増加しております。しかしながらウェブサイト翻訳には、大きな翻訳コストや機械翻訳の誤訳、テキスト管理の手間などの問題を抱えており、低価格で高品質なウェブサイトが望まれていました。
(Background)
Since it has been decided that the 2020 Olympics will be held in Tokyo, it is expected that the number of foreign visitors to Japan will increase more and more. At the same time, the need for information dispatch and localization in many different languages (mainly in the creation of tourism related sites) will rise. However, along with website localization come high translation fees, the possibility of bad machine translations, and the trouble of managing lots of text. So there was demand for a website that could provide low cost, high quality work.

こうした背景から、ウェブサイト翻訳管理ツールを提供する八楽と、低価格でカジュアルな翻訳からビジネス用途にも利用出来る高品質翻訳を提供するエニドアが業務提携することで、両社の強みを活かしより多くの翻訳ニーズに対して低価格な翻訳ソリューションを提供できると考え、提携に合意しました。
この度の提携を機に、両社が提供する各種サービスを複合的に組合せる等、様々な可能性を模索します。
(Description)
Based on this background, the agreement on a business tie-up was made by and between Yaraku providing the website translation management tool and Anydoor providing translation services including casual translation and high quality translation for business use at low prices. We hope to provide translation services at low prices to accommodate many clients’ translation needs through collaboration featuring strengths of each party.
Through this business tie-up, we will search for various business opportunities by combining various services that each of us provides.
まず、提携の第一弾としてワールドジャンパーの翻訳修正機能にConyacの翻訳サービスを搭載し、低価格な修正翻訳がクラウドソースで出来るようになります。
両社はこの提携により、今までコストがかかりすぎて出来なかったウェブサイトのローカライズがより多く行われ、日本の観光業界や各分野の産業の発展の一助を担いたいと考えております。
またConyacは本日全面的なサービスのデザインリニューアルを行い、APIβ版を公開しました。
As the first step of that, the translation system of Conyac will be equipped with the translation correction mechanism of World Jumper, which enables the correction of translation with low price by using crowd source.
By this cooperation, the both companies are to take part in improving Japanese tourism and other industries by localizing more websites which used to cost too expensive to realize.
Also, Conyac has finished the design renewal of whole service and released APIβ version today.
