Manthan Systems Closes $15 Million Series C Funding From Norwest Venture Partners

Manthan System, a retail analytics and business intelligence company based in India, announced yesterday that it has concluded its $15 million Series C funding from Norwest Venture Partners.

Manthan’s products are kind of unique. While most companies would focus on web analytics, Manthan System champions retail and consumer analytics. Its ‘Mall Analytics’ helps a retail building’s management, for example, to monitor and track a tenant’s performance, offer the right mix of tenants (food stores, clothing, etc), and mall expansions. Its ‘Customer Analytics’ helps businesses monitor consumer loyalty and offers solutions that potentially could improve sales. Manthan’s list of clients includes McDonald’s, Crocs, Robinsons, and many more, using its platform across 20 countries.

With the new investment in the bank, Manthan plans to launch several more analytics products to offer more complete solution for retailers. Plus, it will also look to acquire other companies that might fit its long term plan as it looks to offer its solutions on mobile and cloud (SaaS) platforms.

Atul Jalan, founder & CEO of Manthan Systems, commented in a statement:

CyberAgent Ventures Invests in a Fun Chinese Video-Sharing Startup

Back in December of last year we predicted that social video apps would be big in China in 2012, led by a fun one called iSheHui (pictured above). And the Japanese investment firm CyberAgent Ventures seems to agree, having this week confirmed that it has invested 10 million RMB (US$1.59 million) in the startup that makes it.

iSheHui is sort of an Instagram for videos, allowing users to add funky filters to an iPhone or Android smartphone vid and then easily share it with friends on Weibo. The startups two founders, Li Zheng and Zhao Liang, have years of experience in China’s top video-streaming sites – Mr. Li at Ku6 (NASDAQ:KUTV), Mr. Zhao at Tudou (NASDAQ:TUDO) as its former CTO.

Almost mint except some internal dust/haze in rear element.. very minimal and hard to see but there, I do not think will affect image quality what so ever. costs maybe 30-40$ to CLA by professional. Has NO effect on image quality at all.. see the 2 images shot with an EPL-1 and this very lens.. bicycle at wide open, street at f/11.

There is no fungus, no scratches or other issues.. very very clean..

Focus is very smooth as is the aperture.. blades are dry and oil free.

The black paint on the barrel is also in good shape all around in tact.

The fifth one recently finished is up for sale for 5.00. It is quality built, well machined and constructed to look real. It's tough too, not something thats going to break apart with use. I put mine in someone's hand and they still think it's a real recorder. I tell them that it is very hard to find the right batteries, it plays too fast and gets very HOT, (hot/ lighter no one gets that part) and they believe me at first even though they are holding it. Sold as is, a non-working Zippo lighter with reels of Nagra tape that turn by hand. You will be satisfied with the build quality but if you're planning to light your cigarettes or record a conversation you're out of luck.

You are bidding on a Vintage E. Leitz GmbH Wetzlar Summaron 3.5 cm f/3.5 Lens for a Leica Camera. It has the serial number 1159360. I believe this is screw Mount type as the back end is threaded. It has the metal caps for each end. I got this at an Estate auction with several other Leica Camera Accessories. The little button depresses properly and the lens turns easily. Nice clean Lens that does not appear to have been used very much at all. The Lens appears to clear. I am not a Camera Person but it appears to be in Very Good+ condition.
