West coast hardcore relics 7 Seconds have signed to Rise Records and will engage a full-on comeback. The band begin recording a 7-inch and LP this summer in Sacramento, CA, followed by touring and possible re-recordings/re-issues of their back catalogue.

“We have about 20 new songs that we'll record the best 13 songs from. This new record will be all about the energy and drive we still very much possess as a hardcore band. It's been 9 long years since we've recorded a new album so there's a great deal of urgency in them, with just the right mixture of both fast and mid-tempo tunes for people to sink their teeth into," said frontman Kevin Seconds.

the reel measures exactly 3 1/2 inches on the spool side and 1 1/4 width , the reel has a few problems but its rarity out ways them . problems are one agate cracked chipped other one perfect , the head of the brass drag tensioner is broken off but the screw left inside is free and moves up and down , there is a crack in the rim of the reel and i think at some stage the foot has been professionally refitted not sure if its original but its firm and been done well if it has been refitted .

This slapped-together sorta-supergroup features sidemen from a variety of bands—Fitz And The Tantrums’ James King on sax, Beck/Nine Inch Nails bassist Justin Meldal-Johnsen and session drummer Denny Weston Jr.—led by former Eulogies frontman Peter Walker.It’s punk in its ethos (13 songs in 29 minutes) and occasionally in its sonic companions (the Matches-esque “Tomorrow I Might Feel The Same”).“Outta Reach” is a slinky number reminiscent of Morphine, and “Pick Me Up” is a breezy ska number out of the Slackers’ playbook, but most of the rest of Broadheds is fast-paced garage rock with tons of sax skronk and oddly soulful vocals, but not a lot in the way of memorable hooks.
