また、商品にタグがついている場合、タグに書いてある金額と送付状に書いてある金額が合わないと、関税を逃れるために送付状に安い金額を書いていると疑われることがあります。今回は、クリアランスセールで買ったものなので、タグの値段と送付状の金額(実際に私が払った値段)が合いません。ですので、次回の発送では、タグの値段にペンで線を入れて、送付状には私が払った実額を記入してほしいのです。面倒をかけてしまうことになりますが、どうぞよろしくお願いします。

Also, if the item has a price tag, the amount of the price tag has to be matched with the value on the packing list; otherwise the custom inspection would suspect that we’re trying to get away the custom duty by listing less expensive value on the packing list. The packages sometimes were opened or sometimes not at the custom inspection. The small packages, like the size of wallet, tend not to be opened, but the larger size packages are usually opened at the custom inspection. Even if it’s opened, the custom fee will not be charged for the used items in most cases. However, if the items are new, the custom duty will be calculated and charged for the most packages based on the total value of the packaging list. For example, in case of leather bag, sales tax of 5% and custom duty of 8 – 14% will be charged.

Due to the nuclear accident in Fukushima, the evacuation order had been released for the people who live within the 20km radius. The situation continues to be confusing with spreading fake information, lack of gas and food, and cold from snowy weather. The place I live is very far from Fukushima and I barely felt the earthquake, however, my heart breaks whenever I hear the sad news. I would like do what I can for recovery of Japan. Thank you for your concern.

RECORD GRADING POLICY

Near Mint : A nearly perfect record. There may be one or two small inaudible defects. The record should show no obvious signs of wear. A 45 RPM or EP sleeve should have no more than the most minor defects, such as almost invisible ring wear or other sights of slight handling. An LP jacket should have no creases, folds, seam splits or any other noticeable similar defect. No cut-out holes, either.

Near Mint Minus: A record that should play mint but has a few slight visible marks. The album will have as much luster as an NM, there just may be some superficial scuffs from the sleeve or very light hairlines that shouldn't be audible.

Near Mint（ほぼ新品）：ほぼ完全なレコード。1つ、または2つくらいの聞き取れない程度の欠陥がある場合あり。レコードの外見は、明らかな使い古しの跡がない事。45RMPまたはEPのスリーブには、見て解らないほどのリングの跡または微細な取り扱い時の跡などの微小な欠点以上はない事。LPジャケットに、しわ、折り目、縫い目のずれや他の目に付くような欠陥がない事。切り抜き穴もない事。

Near Mint Minus（ほぼ新品マイナス）：レコードは新品同様に演奏できる事。しかし、目に見える数個の傷あり。アルバムは、NMと同じくらい光沢がある事。 スリーブによる表面上の傷や非常に薄い細い線があるかもしれないが、傷による欠陥が聞き取れない程度である事。

私と家族が東北関東大震災で経験し、得た教訓あれこれ。
たとえば、歩いて帰宅するのは20km以内にした方がよい。

これは、日本で3月11日金曜日に発生した東北関東大震災の影響を受けた一般のビジネスマンの経験談。実際に体験したことをもとに作成したスライドです。
ちなみに、作者が住むのは千葉県で東京に会社がある。

The lessons from Tohoku-Kanto earthquake experiences I and my family had.
For example, it is better to keep it within 20 km if you walk back to home.

This is the story of one business man's personal experience who got impacts from Tohoku-Kanto earthquake on Friday of March 11, 2011 in Japan. The slides are created based on real experiences.
For your information, the author lives in Chiba and his company is located in Tokyo.

駅の閉鎖は大ひんしゅく

JR錦糸町駅がシャッター下ろしており、人が中に入れない。
休憩場所として解放すべきでは。
多くの人が怒っていた。
閉め出されることで何か犯罪に巻き込まれたら…。
震災の影響とはいえ、JR普通であることは間違いないのだし…。

The closures of the train station were huge frowned.
People could not get in the station at JR Nishiki-cho because the shutter was closed. It should have been opened for people to use as a rest area.
A lot of people were upset.
They could've gotten into trouble such as crimes by leaving outside.
There was no doubt that JR was out of service due to the impact of the earthquake.

自転車店　行列

飯田橋の自転車店らしいです。
家族が見たのはこの自転車店ではないらしいですが、こんな感じだったとか。


出発した電車もゆっくり進んだり、止まったり、
乗り換えが必要だったりで、結局通常の3倍近い時間がかかりました。


ぼんやりとサラリーマンがどうしようかとベンチに座っているのが少し不思議な風景。


芝大門→船橋まで帰る。赤い線が目指すルート。既にケータイでgoogleの都営線は運航中、京成は17時より運行開始の情報を確認済み。

Long line in front of the bicycle store.
It appears a bicycle store in Iidabashi.
One of the bicycle stores my family witnessed was not this particular one, but the situation was the same.

Even the train departed, it was running slow or even stopped.
Eventually it took about three times more time to get there because of a lot of transitions.

It seems wired as a business man sitting on a bench with vacant expression, thinking what he should do.

Went back from Shibaohmon to Funabashi. The red line is a targeted route. I have already confirmed that Toei line is under operation and Keisei will resume its operation from 17:00 via cell phone Google.

まず、被災者の方および関係者の皆様には心からのお見舞いを申し上げます。
また、できるだけ早い復興をお祈りしています。

東北関東大震災が起きた。大変な大惨事になった。
中心地は日本の東北地方。
私の住む関東地方はすこしばかり離れており、大きな被害から免れた。

災害の概要はニュースなどで既報。
しかし、一般市民がどんな影響を受けたかはあまり知られていない。
私がレポートみようと思い作成した。

私と私の家族の実態験を通じて震災の状況や教訓をお伝えしたいと思います。

First of all, I would like to express my heartfelt sympathy to all the disaster victims and those families. I also sincerely pray for the earliest reconstruction of the areas.

Tohoku-Kanto earthquake happened. It was devastating.
The center of the disaster area was in North of Japan.
Kanto region where I live was a bit away from the north, and luckily I was able to avoid serious damages.

The summary of the disaster is already reported in the news.
However, it is little-known what the impact to the general citizens was.
I decided to report the situation myself.

I would like to tell you the real situation of earthquake disaster and lessons through my and my family's real experience.

私は三島(静岡県)に出張中。
ホテルはいつも空いているのだが、この日ばかりは満杯。
漫画喫茶に宿泊。リクライニング・ソファでつらかった。


外食店で節電営業などあり。
食材の調達ができず閉店するレストランチェーンも。
貪欲そうなパチンコ店も短縮営業。

I was on the business trip in Mishima (Shizuoka prefecture).
The hotel usually has vacancies, but this day was fully occupied.
I spend the night at Manga cafe. It was hard to sleep on reclining chair.

Some restaurants were operating under the power saving mode.
There were some restaurants closed due to lack of food delivery.
Even greedy pinball parlors were closed early.

スタート時は甘く考えていた。だいたい20kmぐらいだけど、5時間もあるけば到着するなあ～と。ジョギングも始めたし…。


やっと錦糸町。予想に比べ、かなり疲れた。寒かったので、そこからくる疲労感もあった。
iPhoneで道順チェックしないと…。
と思うが、手がかじかんでやる気しない。

I underestimated when I started. I thought it's probably about 20 km, but I should be able to arrive about 5 hours because I had started routine jogging.

Finally, I was in Nishiki-cho. I was far more exhausted than I expected. Part of the exhaustion came from the cold weather.
Even though I thought I had to check the route with iPhone, I didn't even want to try with my cold hands.

距離的には約半分。
しかし、荒川超えの寒さと人混み渋滞で急に疲れが出てきた。疲労度はすでに90%に到達。歩くなんて考えた自分を恨めしく思う。そういえばヒールの女性は減少。公園やコンビニで休む人も増加。


やったー江戸川を渡れば千葉だ～。と思ったら、なんと目の前の橋は高速道路で人は渡れず。係員が通してくれない。一気に疲労度が100%超える。
「人は絶望の前では無力になる」
その言葉の意味が少しわかった。
江戸川沿いに約4km橋を目指すためだけに歩くのはむなしい。

It was about half way, distance wise.
But, my exhaustion become at peak because of cold over the Arakawa River and crowds of people. Sensation of fatigue already reached at 90% level. I regretted myself thinking about walking back home. As I noticed, there are few women in heels. More people started resting in the parks and convenience stores.

I thought that I would be in Chiba at last once I across the Edo River. However, the bridge in front of me was highway and people on the foot could not across. The officials would not let me through. Sensation of fatigue reached over 100% at once.
"People become helpless when they face to desperation."
I finally understood the meaning of the words a little.
It is meaningless to walk along Edo river side about 4 km only to find a bridge.

やっと橋にたどり着く。
だけど、ここでも篠崎からより遠い。
川が恨めしい。


やっと到着。
長い道のりでした。
だけど、まだまだ歩いている人がいる。
大変だ～。

I reached to the bridge at last.
However, it is still far from here to Shinozaki.
I hate the river.

Finally I arrived.
It was such as long way.
Still, there are so many people walking.
Too bad...

This DLA was accepted as partial payment towards a new DLC mixer. The serial number on this mixer places its production sometime around the middle of 1988. The mixer was in working condition but needed attention before I would offer it for sale on e-bay. The mixer was shipped to Buzzy Beck for a complete evaluation and rebuild. As most people know Mr. Beck is one of the last original USA Bozak repair engineer and designer of many products including the original 1983 Bozak HB series mixer. All of Mr. Beck's total rebuilds as the photos show include disassembling and then complete rebuilding from the ground up.
Cosmetically the mixer has normal age and discoloration but is still in very nice shape.

このDLAは、新品のDLC ミキサーへの支払いの一部として受理されました。このミキサーにあるシリアル番号によると、1988年の中頃に生産されたものになります。このミキサーは稼動はしますがEbayに出展する前にいくつか注意事項があります。このミキサーはBuzzy Beckへ徹底評価のために発送され、復元されたものです。Beck氏は多くの方がご存知のように、アメリカに存在する最後の元祖Bozak修理工で、1983の Bozak HBシリーズミキサーを含む多くの商品の設計士でもあります。Beck氏による復元模様は、解体を含み、完全に復元するまでを写真でごらんいただけます。
外観的には、ミキサーは通常の範囲の老化と色落ちが見られますが、非常に良い状態です。

津波で家を流された親戚に道が通れるようになったり、電車が動いたら東京に出てくるように勧めてても同じ地域の人達が何もないところで頑張っているのに逃げられないといいます

とても寒い東北地方で電気が通っていないためあかりや水さえも不十分なところで生活してる避難者を考えると私は彼らのために少しでも出来ることを東京でしたいと思います

Even though I suggested my relatives to come to Tokyo once the streets become clear and trains start operate, they insist that they cannot escape leaving other people who stay in the same area without any supply, but with high spirits.
As I think of those evacuees who stay in cold North region without electricity, sometimes not even enough water, I would like to do what I can do in Tokyo for them.

また、春夏分として発注したTシャツとシャツは既に入荷済みですので、今回入荷した商品は過剰入荷分です。仕入れの輸送コストや検品代も無駄な経費も掛かっているので、この商品に関しては返品させてください。

The package indicated as "T-shirt" as well as on the invoice. However, the actual items in the package were "Shirt".
I have already received T-shirts and shirts as for spring & summer order, so this package is excess shipment. I would like to return these item since it already cost me for useless expenses such as transportation fee and inspection fee.
