This item's condition is new. Package and shipping are done neatly and swiftly by Japanese staffs. The item will be shipped from Japan, and you can choose the shipping method from either "STANDARD" or "EXPEDITED". If you choose "STANDARD", the shipment will be done by SAL mail, so it will take about 3-4 weeks until the item arrives. Forget WeChat: China’s coolest new messaging app changes the game with selfies

The strength of China’s web giants and the diversity of its startups usually means that no one service dominates to the extent that, say, Google or Facebook does in other nations. But that hasn’t been true of messaging apps. To chat with a buddy in China, you use WeChat. There are other apps, but WeChat is the only real show in town, with well over 430 million active users to prove it.

WeChat has morphed into a mobile web empire over the past few years, but CatchChat, in contrast, is an oasis of simplicity. There’s just a shutter button – one tap for a photo, hold down for a video – and a ‘plus’ icon for choosing a friend to message. Plus you can makes groups. And that’s really it. It doesn’t tie in with any social networks to help you find friends, so it’s rather inconvenient.

Who knows if CatchChat will catch on the smartphone-toting urban twenty-somethings in China who want something different and separate from WeChat.

もしかしたら、中国の市街地に住む20代のスマートフォンを持つ若者が、Wechatとは 違った別個のものが欲しくて、Catchchatに飛び付くなんてこともあるかもしれない。

Taodiandian will introduce the indoor mapping solution of AutoNavi, the Chinese mapping company Alibaba Group has acquired, for navigation. More features for loyalty programs, such as e-coupons, will be added then, according to the company.

Currently users can use Taodiandian to look for restaurants nearby, order dishes, make payments, rate any stores, among others. Yintai has made WiFi available in all of its department stores.

Taodiandianはナビゲーション用に、Alibabaグループが買収した中国系のマッピング会社であるAutoNaviのインドアマッピングソリューションを導入する。会社によると、e－クーポンのようなロイヤリティプログラム用の機能も、その次にはさらに追加されるそうである。

現在、ユーザーは 付近のレストランの検索や、料理の注文、支払い、お店の評価、そしてその他のことにTaodiandian を利用できる。Yintaiは、所有するすべてのデパートについて、WiFiを利用可能にした。

It's a tourist spot in Japan where you must visit once before you die.

This is one of the lakes in Japan which has high transparency, and it ranks 2nd in the world next to Lake Baikal; it was selected as heritage of Hokkaido in 2001.
There is only a small degree of reflection of light, due to its drastically increasing depth and transparency, and people call the color of the lake surface in sunny days as "Mashu Blue".

WeChat Public Account Development Market is Heating up in China

WeChat Public Account-based Applications Developed by Dodoca
– Dodoca, who develops WeChat public account-based applications, announced today RMB40 million (about US$6.5mn) in Series A funding from several Chinese investors.

– Weimob, who offers similar services to Dodoca’s, announced RMB30 million (around US$4.8mn) funding in the past July.

– Earlier this year Weixinhai, another similar service, announced US$13 million in funding.

It won’t be surprising to see more big funding rounds to happen on the newly emerged market of WeChat public account development.

－Wechatのパブリックアカウントに基づいたアプリケーションを開発するDocodaは、本日複数の中国の投資家から4000万人民元（約650万米ドル）のシリーズA財的支援を発表。
－Docodaと同様のサービスを提供するWeimobは、先の６月に3000万人民元（約480万米ドル）の資金調達を発表している。
－今年初め、別の同様のサービスのWeixinhaiが1300万米ドルの資金調達を発表している。
Wechatのパブリックアカウントの開発によって発生した新しい市場で、より大きい資金調達合戦が繰り広げられても、意外なことではない。

WeChat has released a series of APIs and services to encourage all types of businesses and organizations to use the WeChat public account system or develop custom features for their accounts. While in the first days after the launch the WeChat system was seen as no more than a social marketing channel like Weibo, the largest Twitter-like service in China, the capabilities enabled by those APIs or services, such as mobile payment, have made WeChat way more than that. Earlier this year WeChat launched a mobile store platform for businesses.

Wechatは、全てのビジネスや組織によるWechatのパブリックアカウントシステムの利用またはアカウントのカスタム機能を開発を促進すべく、一連のAPIおよびサービスをリリースした。ローンチしてから最初の数日間は、Wechatシステムは、中国における最大のTwitterに似たサービスであるWeiboと同じようなソーシャルマーケティングのチャネルであるとみられていた。しかし、モバイル支払いのようなそれらのAPIおよびサービスの能力が、Wechatをそれ以上のものにした。Wechatはビジネス用のモバイルストアのプラットフォームをローンチした。

Of course, the most important that makes businesses put their heart into WeChat public accounts or feel an impulse to develop custom features is the huge number of WeChat users: 438 monthly active users as of the second quarter of 2014.

Two years after launch, the public accounts have reached 5.8 million. While it’s easy to set up a public account or run the account with the basic features, it’s not that every business has software developers or can afford to hire some to build the mobile-Web-based features for the account or create more ways for promotions on WeChat.

もちろん、企業がWechatのパブリックアカウントに熱心に取り組んだり、カスタム機能の開発をしたいという衝動に駆られるようになる最も重要な要素は、Wechatユーザの多さである：2014年の第2四半期には、1か月のアクティブユーザが438であった。

ローンチの2年後、パブリックアカウントの数は580万に上った。パブリックアカウントの設定やベーシックな機能を有するアカウントの運営は簡単だが、全てのビジネスがソフトウェア開発者を有していないし、アカウントのモバイル－ウェブ－ベースの機能の構築やWechatの新プロモーションの創出のためにソフトウェア開発者を雇えるわけではない。

Here came the WeChat app development and operation services. The three aforementioned developers have similar offerings. Apart from developing features for public accounts or run accounts for clients, they have developed dashboards which show metrics of subscriber activities and analytic results, or other applications for clients to better interact with their WeChat subscribers online or in offline activities. They also offer training for businesses.

ここに登場するのがWechatアプリ開発およびオペレーションサービスである。前述の3人の開発者は、同様のものを提供する。彼らはパブリックアカウントのための機能開発や顧客のためのアカウントの運営のほかに、加入者の活動量の測定やその分析結果を表示するダッシュボードや、クライアントがWechatの加入者とオンラインまたはオフラインのアクティビティでの交流を増やせるようなアプリケーションを開発した。さらに彼らは、ビジネスのためのトレーニングも提供する。

It is said that there are thousands of companies on public WeChat account development or operation in China. And many of them were previously social marketing agencies on Weibo. Like what I mentioned, WeChat means way bigger opportunities for them, for a well-run public account doesn’t only mean better branding but also generates revenues for businesses.

中国では、Wechatのパブリックアカウントの開発またはオペレーションに携わる企業が何千とあると言われている。そして、その多くが、以前はWeibonoソーシャルマーケティングの業者であった。私が先に述べたとおり、経営状態の良いパブリックアカウントはより良いブランド構築だけでなくビジネスの収益をも生み出すという意味で、Wechatは彼らにとってこれまでより何倍も大きい機会なのである。

But, thanks to the decline of Weibo, those services are not putting all eggs in one basket. Dodoca offers services for EasyChat, the mobile chatting app jointly owned by NetEase and Chinese telco China Telecom and having a me-too public account system, Alipay and Weibo at the same time. As Alipay Wallet, the mobile app of Alipay for mobile payments and many other mobile services, released a set of APIs recently, those third-party developers must be going to jump on it before long.

しかしWeiboの衰退のおかげで、それらのサービスは一つのバスケットに全ての卵を入れてしまってはいない。DodocaはEasyChatという、NetEaseと中国の電話会社であるChina Telecom が共同所有するモバイルチャットアプリにサービスを提供しており、、AlipayとWeiboという二つの似通ったパブリックアカウントを同時に有している。AlipayのモバイルアプリであるAlipay Walletはモバイル支払い及び他の多数のモバイルサービスに用いることのできるが、それが最近APIのセットをリリースしたことにより、第三勢力の開発者は間もなくそれに飛びつくであろう。

Since the WeChat public account system for content publishing, mobile commerce and, more recently, interacting with smart home or wearable products, is well received in China, more players will join in. Baidu, the Chinese search giant, unveiled today a program similar to it that will be available on the next version of Baidu’s flagship mobile app.

コンテンツの発行、モバイルコマース、そしてより最近ではスマートホームやウェアラブル商品との相互作用などができるWechatのパブリックアカウントシステムが中国でなかなか評判が良いため、更に競合が参入した。中国の検索大手であるBaiduは、それと同様のプログラムがBaiduの主力モバイルアプリの次のバージョンで利用可能となる、ということを本日公開した。

カラリオ新キャラはAKBまゆゆ


最新技術を採用した印刷機を製造・販売し、イベント会場の装飾を支えるセイコーエプソンとエプソン販売は、9月2日、東京ドームホテルで「エプソン カラリオ新商品＆CMキャラクター発表会」を開催した。

コンシューマー向けインクジェットプリンターの新商品として、カラリオシリーズをはじめ全12機種を投入し、ラインアップを一新する。

発表会には　カラリオ広告の新キャラクターに採用された「まゆゆ」ことAKBの渡辺麻友さんもゲストとして登場し、新CMも紹介された。

AKB Mayuyu for the new character of Colorio

Seiko Epson and Epson Sales Japan Corporation, which is involved in the manufacturing and distribution of printers with latest technology, and support decorations of event places, held "Epson Colorio New Product & CM Character Launch Event" at Tokyo Dome Hotel on Sep. 2nd.

The lineup will be renewed by introducing a total of 12 models, including Colorio series, as new products as ink-jet printers for consumers.

"Mayuyu" or Mayu Watanabe of AKB, who is the new character for the advertisement of Colorios, arrived as a guest at the event, and the new CM was also introduced.

The company will take time to build up its profit-making arms in India. It has already announced a research and development center, indicating the long-term view it takes of the Indian market, which Barra has described as being the most important for Xiaomi after China.

Madder rush for Redmi 1S?

Tomorrow therefore is another red letter day for the Chinese phone-maker.

In India, the real action is in the budget smartphone arena where Redmi 1S will enter the fray. With the Mi 3 track record, there’s more than enough awareness about the brand as the one which raised the bar for smartly-priced smartphones. “Redmi 1S is the perfect phone for your mother or grandparents. This one is for those who are looking to make the transition from feature phones to smartphones,” Barra said. That’s the majority in India, where smartphone adoption is just taking off.

Currently, no other smartphone-maker gives these specifications for this price. Learning from its experience with Mi 3, Xiaomi has doubled the number of Redmi 1S on sale tomorrow. But that too is far from enough as there is a madder rush for the cheaper device. How this plays out will be keenly followed not only by Xiaomi and its fans, but also worried competitors.

Almost as soon as Xiaomi India opened its Facebook page, however, its posts went viral. People who had never heard of the company a few months ago rushed to register for the Mi 3 as soon as its top-of-the-line features and price-point were announced. That’s India for you.
