May I ask you to send it after changing it?

If volume of the sample is this, there is no problem at customs in case where you send it from France to Japan directly.
Of course, you can bring it with you when you come to Japan.
However, it will be easier for you to bring the sample by small volume if you bring it as your personal belongings when you go through customs.
