郡山市公会堂
国登録有形文化財

1924年の郡山市の市制施行を記念して同年に完成。
オランダ・ハーグ平和宮殿の図面を模し、連続半円アーチの柱廊と、窓台受、
上げ下げ連窓などを丁寧にデザインした躯体の隅に、縦長ガラス面で垂直性を強調した塔屋を設けている。

郡山市のシンボルとして親しまれ、現在でもコンサートなどに利用されている。

Koriyama City Public Hall
Registered Tangible Cultural Property
The hall was completed for the commemoration of organising the city of Koriyama in 1924.
The building was designed and inspired with the drawing of the Peace Palace of Haag in the Netherlands, it was modelled with the pillars of continued oval arch, window frames, there was the tower emphasising the vertically face of the grass at the corner of carefully designed body along with double hung window.
It is loved as the symbol of Koriyama and currently used for the event such as concert.
