これらは私の祖父が退職後に作った作品の一部である。約10年前に脳梗塞を患った後も、彼は震える手で彫刻刀を握り作品を作り続けた。彼はこれらの作品で数々の賞を受賞した。彼は今、後遺症によって寝たきりの状態である。私たち子孫は彼から受け継いだ創造力を世の中のために活かさなければならない。

English

These are a part of his works my grandfather created after retirement. He kept creating works with holding chisels in his tremulous hands after he suffered from brain infarct about ten years ago. He won the several prizes for these works. He is bedridden as a fallout now. We, grand children, have to use the creativity taken over from him for a society.
