カード受け取りました。

私の父の父親は静岡県の前田藩主に仕える医者の一族でした。
しかし彼は医者にならず(なれず？)かなり変わった人だったようです。
私の父が家系について書き残してました。関東大震災で没落したようです。
なので、私の父親も不思議な人でした。
もう少し仲良くすれば良かった、、、。
それだけが私の心残りです。

I received the card.

My father was from a family that served to Lord Maeda in Shizuoka prefecture.
But I heard that he was a weird person, and did not (or could not?) become a doctor.
My father wrote does about his family. The family has fallen because of the Great Kanto earthquake.
So my father was also a mysterious person.
I hope that I could have been getting along with him better...
That is the only thing that I regret.
