The Marshall had the plexi-panel removed in 1969, and the Dagnal main transformer which was a lay-down up until then was changed to an upright.

However, there is a quite rare 1971 lay-down specimen in existence, the same as those from the plexi period.

There is one model that was shipped in 1971 using 60's plexi period left-over chassis and parts.

There is the especially popular Version 8 from amongst the numerous types of 100W amp, with a lay-down transformer the same as a Marshall plexi. I have one with the same specifications as the famous -- which was loved by ○○ and ××.
