*IAA stands for International Association of Art, known in Japan under the name of Japan Artists' Association, Inc. It is an NGO (an international non-governmental organization) for professional artists, established in 1945 by Unesco. Since Japan Artists' Association is a part of IAA, it participates in its activities as a Japanese committee. Members of JAA become members of IAA automatically.
