ゼンマイの巻き方としては、りゅーずによって巻上げる方法、時計を振る方法、オートリワンダーを購入する方法があります。この中で最もよいのは、オートリワンダーの利用ですが、別途購入が必要ですので、就寝される前に水平にやさしく10～20回振る方法をお勧めしております。
機械式腕時計は、3～4年に1度オーバーホール(有料)をすることにより、摩耗した部品の交換や内部のゴミ処理ができ、長期間(数十年)、正常に使用できるものと考えております。
