作者紹介：もとのぶきみひさ
1944年福島県郡山市生まれ。グラフィックデザイナーを経て、フリーのイラストレーターとなる。イラストレーション、絵本、版画、装幀デザイン等で活躍。これまでに多数の絵本を出版している。1990年、「シマウマだけどウサギ」(くもん出版)でボローニャ国際児童図書展グラフィック賞を受賞。

The illustration in this book is done by Mr. Kimihisa Motonobu whose art works received an award at Bologna International Children's Book Fair. You will surely enjoy this new picture book, having a smiling time with your child.

Profile of the illustrator:
Kimihisa Motonobu
He was born in 1944 in Kooriyama city, Fukushima. He became a freelance illustrator after working as a graphic designer. He is actively working on illustration, picture books, woodblock prints, book cover design and so on. A number of picture books with his illustration have been published. His illustration in "Zebra but Rabit" (published by Kumon Publishing Co., Ltd.) was awarded the Graphic Award at Bologna Children's Bookfair.
