本症例では、1回目の手術後に低体温の合併症が起きた。鎮静による過度な副交感神経活動の亢進が原因の一つと考えた。しかし、2度目の鎮静後には体温低下がなかったため、DEXの影響による可能性が強く疑われた。鎮静中の血圧は1回目の鎮静の方が2回目の鎮静の時より約15%低くなっていた。これからも1回目の鎮静時の方がより一層の副交感神経活動の亢進があった可能性が考えられる。
DEX、ミダゾラム、プロポフォールの血中半減期は、それぞれ2.5h、1.8-6.4h、30-60minである。
In this case, hypothermia complications occurred after the first surgery. Enhancement of excessive parasympathetic activity by sedation was considered as one of the causes. However, after the second sedation, because there was no decrease in body temperature, it was strongly suspected that the cause is the influence of DEX. Blood pressure during second sedation was about 15% lower than first sedation.

Blood half-life of DEX, midazolam and propofol was respectively 2.5h, 1.8-6.4h, 30-60min.
