製造部門で安全や品質向上を目的として取り組まれてきた活動で仕事を進める上での基本的な行動である

整理とは、乱れた状態を片付けて秩序ある状態へ揃えることをいう。
まず第一に必要なものと不必要なものを区分する
次に不必要なものを捨てる
必要なものだけを秩序ある状態へそろえる
躾とは、決められたことを正しく守るための習慣付けを行うこと

5S is acronym taken from the beginning letters of "Seiri = Sort", "Seiton = Set in order", "Seiso = Clean", "Seiketsu = Standardize" and "Shitsuke = discipline".
This is the activity that had been tackled with the aim of safety and improving product quality in production division and become the basic on processing work activities.

Seiri/sort is put away and clear the disorderly condition into orderly condition.
First thing to do is classified the the necessary and unnecessary things.
Next, throw away the unnecessary things.
Put only the necessary thing into align order.
Shitsuke/discipline is held to get used and protect the predetermined correctly.
