Problem Occurrence

The onsite supervisor will will make unscheduled inspections of the site. He'll observe work according to the six criteria to the left, find areas that need improvement and instruct accordingly.
Overlooking unsafe worker conduct or irregularities in equipment can lead to much larger problems or disasters.
Through unscheduled inspections, the supervisor will be able to better grasp normal worker conduct(to determine safety, find irregularities and so on).

Effectively Communicating Safety and Work Protocols to New Hires

The supervisor will teach new hires about safety compliance protocols, basic operations, etc., and also ensure that the new hires are properly implementing what they've been taught.
Just being told or being shown isn't enough to ensure proper safety or quality of work. If new hires do not have hands-on experience, there is no point.
