kanon84- Thank you for your reviewing. I have a question for you. How do you became ranked 'standard' from 'starter' ? Have your received a good result from level test ? When you become 'standard', does the point you get from public light translating increase ? This is more like the place you can brush up your translation skill rather than a job getting paid ? I am trying to understand this system since there are many things that I don't know. I hope that you don't mind answering my concern.
Hi minnie! Yeah, I got a good result on the level test. But the points (rewards) for public light translations are the same for everybody, I think. However, becoming standard gives you access to business and premium requests that are somewhat better paid. But yeah, this is more of a practice place than somewhere to make a living out of. I work for another translation platform mainly, and use this one just as a side for some more pocket money :)
Ok I see. Thank you for your quick response :) I will try to practice more here and take the level test. I have just taken for English to Japanese. Thank you again and have a good day.
Good luck! :D
Are you Japanese ?
No ;) I lived, studied and worked in Japan for 7 years though :D
wow only 7 years and you can read and write Japanese.. You must be very motivating :) Thanks again.
I mean 7 years is long enough to learn language but most of my friends who have lived in Japan don't even speak Japanese :p
