私は中学校と高校の英語の教員免許状をとるために、大学4年間ずっと教職課程を履修していました。中学校で教育実習も経験しましたが、最後に一単位落としてしまい、結局私は免許をとることができませんでした。だから今通信教育課程で勉強中です。あと一科目単位をとることができれば、教員免許状を取得することができます。
将来子どもたちに英語を教えたいという気持ちがあるのでがんばります。教員免許状を取得しようと思ったきっかけは子どもと英語が好きだったからです。

In order to take the junior and high school English teacher's license, I had been taken a University Teacher Education course for 4 years . Although I had experience on teaching in junior school, I still didnt pass the last credit and failed to obtain the teacher's license. Therefore, I am now studying in a distance learning course and if i passed one more credit i will get a teacher's license.

I will try my best as i am keen on teaching children English.
English and children trigger me to obtain a teacher's license.

免許を取得するは”get" "obtain" "acquire"を使うといいでしょう。take, getは会話では通じるかもしれませんが、文章で書くとしたらacquire, obtainとなると思います。少々の間違いはありますが、全体としてはいい訳だと思います。
