We automatically get an authorization from PayPal when your order is placed. However, we do not actually use that authorization and charge your account until the order ships. You will see the authorization amount on your PayPal statement. Note the "Transaction Type" is "Authorization" only. You will see another one called "Capture" on your PayPal account when the order ships.
