Hokkaido Lake Mashu

It's a tourist spot in Japan where you must visit once before you die.

This is one of the lakes in Japan which has high transparency, and it ranks 2nd in the world next to Lake Baikal; it was selected as heritage of Hokkaido in 2001.
There is only a small degree of reflection of light, due to its drastically increasing depth and transparency, and people call the color of the lake surface in sunny days as "Mashu Blue".

A caldela lake with the world's first-class transparency, and attracts visitors with its ever-changing lake surface.
