夏が巡ってくるたびに思う。こんなにとてつもなく暑いのに、どうして自分はランニングなどというものを続けているのだろう。

　私が夏になってもランニングを中断せず、１年中、オフなしに走り続けているのは、もしかすると「もったいないの思想」が心の底にあるからではないか。

　ここまで続けてきたランニングの習慣が途切れてしまうのが怖い、というより、もったいない。せっかく強化してきた脚筋力や心肺機能を低下させるのがもったいない。せっかく削ってきた体重が戻ってしまうのがもったいない。

Every time Summer come around I think, how can I possibly keep up my running in this heat.

I don't stop over the Summer season, I run all year round, maybe its because I don't want to [waste the time] at the bottom of my heart.
The idea of breaking my habit of running is scary, rather, rather a waste. I may weaken the muscle strength and cardiovascular health I have built. Maybe all the weight I have shed will also return.
